USC Sumter Women's Volleyball Releases Fall 2025 Schedule After Historic District Tournament Debut

Sumter, SC – July 15, 2025 — The USC Sumter Fire Ants women's volleyball team has officially unveiled its Fall 2025 schedule, following a groundbreaking 2024 season that saw the program earn its first-ever bid to the NJCAA Southeast District Tournament.

Led by Head Coach Heath Griffin, the Fire Ants are entering the new season with high expectations and a hunger to build on last year's success. The 2025 schedule features a dynamic mix of Region 10 matchups, competitive non-conference games, and key road trips that will test the team's depth and determination.

2025 Schedule Highlights:

• Season and Home Opener: The Fire Ants face Wake Technical College on August 21 at the USC Sumter Nettles Building Gym.
• Florida Road Swing: A tough back-to-back against Florida State College at Jacksonville and Polk State College on August 28–29.
• Region 10 Rivalries: Key matchups include defending Region 10 Champions USC Lancaster (Sept. 17, Oct. 7, Oct. 15), USC Salkehatchie (Sept. 11, Sept. 30, Oct. 23) and USC Union (Sept. 15, Oct. 1, Oct. 18, Oct. 20).
• Postseason Push: The regular season concludes with a Region 10 showdown on October 23, followed by the district tournament at USC Lancaster on November 1.
